Hello all.
I started learning japanese and it could be of great help if I had
a japanese kana (and perhaps kanji) typesetting method. Is that
possible in groff?
Here is how I tried to do it on my own:
(1) I googled on groff and japanese. There seems to be a "ja-groff"
or "jgroff" with th

Hello.
I have the following problem with groff.19.1 on a SuSe 10.1.
with the ms package and html output.
When I insert a table, everything goes well:
.TS
allbox;
cl.
A table
.TE
But when I put that into a macro:
.de ATABLE
.TS
allbox;
cl.
A table
.TE
..

Hello all.
I'm rather hesitating to present my project here which perhaps does
not make sense to anyone but myself.
It is a tmac file that formats and outputs tmac files, called
"ac.tmac". The tarball is in bz2 format 15KB size (tarball with
ac.tmac alone 9,5KB), containing the tmac file itse

Hello all.
(By mistake I first sent this posting to g...@groff.org instead of
gr...@gnu org. Oh my.)
I'm experimenting with the -K utf8 option, because I'd like to input
utf8 formatted source code:
groff -s -K utf8 -ms -Tps Input.ms > Output.ps
This works, as long as I have one single input fi

Hello all.
I know that when I generate html output I can add information to
the section of the HTML with .HEAD. I'm using this
macro to add a link to an external stylesheet.
This works perfectly, but I have to insert the line
.HEAD
into every file.
Is it possible to edit the whole sectio

Hello.
I googled and tried a lot for this question, found nothing, I think
that what I want is not possible - so I'm asking here to make sure
that I am not missing something. - For a special text, a sort of
notation of chords for the accordion, I want a macro roughly like this:
.de ch

Hello.
I'm editing chinese texts, which I can do very well in plain text
and format them to printable output with the paps filter (at
http://paps.sourceforge.net), the texts look like:
你 家 有 几 口 人 ?
你们 学校 有 多少 学生 ?
我 想 , 大概 有 三 万 个 .
老板 让 我 去 那里 工作 .
Then, I know how to do that with
