Hi Branden, Kind of a facepalm moment there, I realized that the .hcode request don't work since my source file is encoded in UTF-8. Making a separate file with the requests, encoded in latin2, and sourcing it in the document allowed me to fully utilize the hyphenation pattern file. So! I started

Hi, I'm trying to make justified text look nicer, so I turned to hyphenation. Hungarian is not supported out of the box by groff, but I found a tex patterns file which seems quite good, that is what I tried to use, to not much success. Hyphenation happens, but not as often as I'd hope. After some

Hi Alexis! This is the output for the gsfonts package files (sorry, long list with some long lines at the end): /usr/share/fontconfig/conf.avail/61-urw-bookman.conf /usr/share/fontconfig/conf.avail/61-urw-c059.conf /usr/share/fontconfig/conf.avail/61-urw-d05l.conf /usr/share/fontconfig/conf.a

Thanks for the reply! I already have ghostscript installed. I checked the dependencies, on Void, the package you are referring to is called "gfonts" (the description says "URW+ base35 fonts"). I also tried using the ps device instead and piping the result through ps2pdf, and but I still got t

Dear Oliver, Yes, you did get my name right! :) Thanks for the tips! I tried installing another font (EB Garamond), and it displays correctly. The reason I want to avoid installing fonts other than the standard ones, though, is that I want some of my friends to be able to use my implementatio

Dear Bjarni! This looks like a wonderful solution, however, I get an error like this for every font selection when running the modified script: ``` troff::2: warning: cannot select font 'U-AB' ``` For me it seems like your message implies that these fonts should be installed by default, maybe
