New user . . . just downloaded Gnucash 3.2. When I click on the app,
absolutely nothing happens. Never opens.

I am researching the issue with Auto Clear,as it is something that I have
not seen before. So far, I found out that it is supposed to be started
from the Accounts window Actions menu and it is supposed to cause a screen
to open where one can try to coax GnuCash into clearing multiple
transactions
Thanks David. I don't see any suggestions other than what I did. Downloaded
from the link, opened the disk image, and moved the app to the applications
folder. Still when I click on the app, nothing happens. Nothing at all.

You need to double-click on the app. Also there have been reports that
Gatekeeper isn’t passing GnuCash on to LaunchServices after verification so a
second double-click is needed to actually launch it.
If that still doesn’t work try opening /Applications/Utilities/Terminal and
starting GnuCash

In any case, my laptop is relatively new, and I had to call Mac tech support
today regarding a completely different issue I was having. The tech person
had me do a few things -- including running disk first aid -- which
