I suppose an alternative could be to leave it on all the time instead of
toggling off/on, but then each troubleshooting test would build up another
set of unwanted prices in the price database.
I have tried to look for an answer online, but failed, so ho

Does anyone know how to get price quotes for LSE:BT.A from Alphavantage? Or
from any other source?
Following other advice on this forum, I've successfully retrieved price
quotes from Alphavantage for other LSE stocks by concatenating the LSE
ticker code with ".L" and setting that as the value of S

If I keep the SIPP in a separate dedicated GC file, then no problem: my
contribution appears in the main GC file as an expense against my bank
account and as an income in the SIPP GC file. I just wondered if there was
a way of keeping all assets in one file.

I have the same question. I hope someone can answer.
I'd put it more basically. I am a novice to GnuCash with no formal
accountancy training other than reading the (really good!) introduction in
the GnuCash documents, plus 10 years struggling with accounts in Excel. What
I wonder is, is there a "r
