I build GC r18372 yesterday and that's working without this problem but
my build from a few days ago (maybe R18365 or so) crashed with the same
error.

changing description but now I realize
the two problems may not be related.
When I enter a value for a scheduled transaction the transaction is
being created in the register (and in the review register) but both
splits are empty:

Is this intentional that GnuCash shouldn't compile on FC5 without SWIG
upgrade? Just wanted to make sure you know about this behavior.
