I feel uncomfortable with the untranslatable prefix, some are used as
comments, some are used to estimate widths in this case.
Is that possible to remove all these prefix from .pot file? So that
translators would not so easyly falling into the trap.

Hi,
I almost finished my po translation, and I want to translate the
Windows installer to support zh_CN. Could you tell me how to do the
translation for Windows Installer? Thanks.

Hi,
I'm not cleared on some strings during the translation. Could help me
understand those strings?
1)
#: ../src/gnome/dialog-tax-info.c:281
msgid "Form Line Data: "
What's meaning of that?
2)
#: ../src/gnome/glade/acctperiod.glade.h:13
msgid "xxx"
Should I just put "xxx" in translation?
3)

Thank you, that does help a lot. And thank you for update the wiki for

Hi,
I reached a string
This setting controls the type of starting date used in profit/loss
calculations. If set to \"absolute\" then GnuCash will retrieve the
starting date specified by the start_date key. If set to anything
else, GnuCash will retrieve the starting dat
Hi,
I'm trying to change the Gtk theme of GnuCash, however, I found it
looks like only color has changed, and the shape is keeping square,
which is really not pretty.
Is it that the GTK binding too low? or no theme engine has integrated?
What I'm comparing are GnuCash and Inkscape. Both of them u

Hi,
I saw some strings with context prefix, but I thought I might
translate them in wrong way.
For example,
string "Action Column|Deposit",
comment: "Translators: This string has a context prefix; the translation
must only contain the part after the | character."
My current translation is:
"操作栏

Hi,
When I translate for string
-
A list of directories (strings) indicating where to look for html and
parsed-html files. Each element must be a string representing a
directory or a symbol where 'default expands to the default path, and
'current expands to the current value of the path.

Hi,
Is that possible let iso-4217-currencies.scm belong to seperate .po
file? just like "gnucash-glossary", it's "gnucash-currencies", but it
will be used during the runtime. I don't know whether it is possible a
program can use 2 po file at same time.

Hi,
I have 5 issues and 2 suggestions. To make me easy, I put them in a single mail.
Issue 1) All CJK characters are not shown correctly in HTML report display page.
I found the reason is encoding. Because all report are written in
UTF-8, (or current locale). The encoding should be included by th
Hi, everyone,
It's reverted to GtkHTML for Windows release in 2.3.9. And the bug 588816 is
fixed at 2.3.12. So, is it enabled for WebKit as display report engine in
2.3.12?

Hi, everyone,
Since the file, "src/engine/iso-4217-currencies.scm", contains string which
appears to user, I think the file should be translated into local language.
For example, during choosing the currency, the currencies will list as
following:
==
AUD (Australian Dollar)

Hi, everyone,
I'm using Windows 7, there is a trend to using larger icon than 48x48. I
usually like to set icon size for my desktop to "Large Icon", which is 96x96
or 128x128. However, GnuCash only support to 48x48, which makes my desktop
looks wired, since other icons are big, GnuCash's one is mu
