The 'kn.po' that you added to configure.in in vte was breaking
build badly, and so removed. Don't you ever msgfmt translations
before hooking them up?

Thinking again, I removed the LINGUAS line, so I do check all
translations for possible build problems. So I'm not making any
exceptions for 'fa' anymore. That means, upon each release, I'm
going to commit line-number changes to all languages. This has
been the tradition in all projects AFAIK.

The problem for the i18n people are string additions, not removals. If
