long time without problems but approximately one week ago something

I guess you've selected the linux jdk during the openoffice
installation. And since the linux jdk doesn't work anymore
you see those errors.
You can redo a network install, install the native bsd jdk and
then choose this one.

I installed OO with -DBATCH -DWITHOUT_GNOMEVFS so I didn't selected
anything... I only had the linux emulation install

For instance every time I portupgrade dhcpd I have to remember to start
it manually after the upgrade. As portupgrade knows how to stop the
daemon before the upgrade it should also know how to start it afterwards.
