at I write it, perhaps it's easier to check if the current
directory exists before opening the db file.

I use it in 2 apps and was posponing the next versions because sctp were
dropped by openssh and libressl.
Nice to see more people are using it and port list cares about it.
Thanks!

At least there will be a long rest after
the move to 10 is complete.. until FreeBSD 100.
Or move to hexadecimal

Just curious, is it really true that portupgrade is "abandonware" ?
I think I have seen some updates to it on the ports tree in the last
six months ...
thanks,

Trying to build this port on FreeBSD 7.1 release but it fails either using just
make or portupgrade, I cvsuped my ports twice in the last two days to no avail.
file=`echo tr | sed 's,.*/,,'`.gmo \
&& rm -f $file && /usr/local/bin/msgfmt -o $file tr.po
file=`echo uk | sed 's,.*/,,'`.gmo

I just cvsuped my ports tree and vlc is the only port that it is failing to
compile. I'm using FBSD 7stable and this is the error that I'm getting:
---> Upgrading 'vlc-0.8.6.i,2' to 'vlc-0.8.6.i_2,2' (multimedia/vlc)
---> Building '/usr/ports/multimedia/vlc'
===> Cleaning for vlc-0.8.6.i_2,2

I'm running fbsd7 stable and I tried to upgrade it using portupgrade and it
failed and then tried to just use make and still get the same error. It says
checksum mismatch, here's what I get if I run make:
===> Found saved configuration for cups-base-1.3.7
===> Extracting for cups-base-1.3.8
=
I'm running FBSD 7 stable and I'm using portupgrade and ruby18 is the only port
that refuses to upgrade. I'm getting this error when I run portupgrade.
---> Upgrading 'ruby-1.8.6.111_4,1' to 'ruby-1.8.6.287,1' (lang/ruby18)
---> Building '/usr/ports/lang/ruby18'
===> Cleaning for ruby-1.8.6.2
versions compiled
under XF86 are still running, but not the 4.5 version
Thanks for you attention
