Why can't the PAO changes be committed to the main source tree? It would
be nice if I could just install the latest version of FreeBSD from
the Walnut Creek CD-ROM as is and have PCMCIA and APM support on my

Thanks. End of discussion. If I am able to tidy up parts of PAO I will do

This does make sense. I do some work on a mail server and I don't use
keepalives because 2 hours is _too_much_ time to be wasting a descriptor.
I periodically check how long a connection has been open and if it exceeds
a certain amount I close the connection.
Lookup natd on the freebsd page.

I would like to use the latest threads source because my application does

However, it does not appear that I can change it without replacing all of

Any ideas what might be wrong?

I know that this is not the place to hype one's own wares, but if your
lists have fewer than 200 people, why not just use the free version of
lyris. One of its many features is sophisticated bounce handling.

Sorry, if I'm repeating something already said, but
the tone of your mail would indicate that I'm not.
This doesn't sound like an intrinsic limitation of
devfs, just an issue with how it is structured now.
There should just be a central file for all the
devices which devfs sucks in at build (or m

The module makefile needs to be updated evidently. Just add it to the
