GraniteDS is as very valid replacement for BlazeDS in case you are looking for
alternatives.

Just put up code (and pull request) that should work or be very close to
working.

In the meantime, I downloaded Tar for Windows and tried to invoke it from a

approach. Please take a look h

As always depends on your audience we still have most clients (for an
enterprise app) running 11.0, a few on 11.1 and none

I'm not currently making a release with the build just a standard "ant main".
I had planed to put that in another project but the windows machine is
currently out of disk space. It's been looked

Question #5, FP security:
Apple announced that with a recent security update FP will be disabled
in Safari, if you don't have the most recent version installed.

Thanks a lot for your answers, Oleg.
Regarding 2), the -swf-version option
Here's the first line of output of the swfdump tool applied to a file
compiled with the 4.6 SDK:
Here's the same line of output for an SWF compiled using the 4.5.0 SDK:

I can only give a definitive answer to #5. I remember that since FP 10
release there were several critical vulnerability fixes. I think I could
find a kb note on that one, if needed. However, 10.3 is a current official
download provided by Adobe, so, they must be fixed both there and in FP

I have a few questions regarding the target player for the 4.8 SDK,
the -swf-version option, playerglobal.swc version, etc. I'd be
thankful for any input.
1) Apache Flex 4.8 and target-player option
I've read in the Adobe Flex 4.6 docs, that the minimum value for the
-target-player option is 11.1

AFAICS the build is at https://builds.apache.org/job/Flex_SDK_build/
Logged-in users can look at the build job configuration.

Carol/Sudhir,
I havent been able to make it work on a Mac yet. Justin has been helping
me to get it working on a Mac. We have a strategy. We just need to try it
out.
Anyone else out there a Mac want to work on this? Please feel to jump in!

Thanks Justin. Looks very good. I merged the changes into my github.
Does the config xml need a license header?
Any luck on the invoking tar from the app on a Mac?
Thanks,

Justin,
Where should I go or what should I read to figure out how our build works?
I'm not sure how our top-level build is invoked. Ideally it could be
invoked with
ant -Dbuild.number={svn-rev-that-triggered-build} release (or whatever
target you are using)
This would cause flex-sdk-descriptio
Hi,
Well to the issues: I don't know all of them, I just know that Velo keept on

my radar is that the ASDoc in the latest SDK version was totally broken. Having
a look at the code showed my that this module would ha
Sudhir,
That is my fault. I forgot to tell you it was Windows only. Om is still
working on it and I think he added Mac support last night so you can retry
it.
