My Evolution on this laptop seems to be rather broken as of this
morning. For any new messages synchronised from an IMAP folder, I get
an error when opening them along the lines of:
Empty cache file:
/home/mark/.cache/evolution/mail/a6bb2aca8488f40e1eebd248af7c9e2a82c86f
05/folders
#x27;t use
the "OK", "forward","backward" button . I try to modify the source ,
but the source code is too big, I can't locate which c file can help me
change the widget height.
Can anyone give me a hand?

Would also be nice if there was a checkbox as to whether "--" should be before

Is there some trick to getting this to work.
I want to move some messages to a folder and then set them as read.
The "Then" part of a few of my rule dialogS has "Move to folder" and
then "Set Status Read", but the second part never works.

Presumably everyone with a GMail account has just received a message
from Google that appears to say from May this year the only access to
GMail will be via OAth.

This happened for the first time a week ago and happened just now again.
I've been using Evolution for what seems like years (10+??)... and using
linux when slackware was the only distribution (I think) and was loaded
via 3" fl
27; drop-down as a red square.
However, the message does not show this anywhere. I can select 'Show >
Important' and it does filter by that, but I'd like to see the red square
somewhere in my message list view. Doable?

Evolution has stopped being able to receive new emails. When I try to
fetch new mail (pop3), I receive this error message:
"Error while Feching Mail. Cannot append message to mbox file:
/home/markybob/.evolution/mail/local/Inbox: File too large"
ls -lh on the file shows that it is 2.0G in size.
The filesystem is XFS, so that's certainly not a problem. I created
yearly folders under "On This Computer" and moved them from Inbox, but
somehow the size of the file did not shrink.

tried Evo 2.8.1 the other day, worked ok, except couldn't see any sub

The cause of the problem is probably the way the Ubuntu list has been set
up, but is there a way around this cumbersome cutting and pasting I have to

One might view this by mouse over the dynamic info bars at the bottom of
the evolution screen? or is there a log file option I'm unaware of?
