I'm trying to set my evolution config so that my 'face' is available on outgoing e-mail - automagically. I've read various "readme's" - but things seem to work differently to what is said. I'm running evolution version... "GNOME evolution 2.26.3". in ~/.evolution, I created my base64 png image - djpeg my-picture.jpg | ppmnorm | pnmscale -width 48 -height 48 | ppmquant 7 | pnmtopng | base64 > ~/.evolution/faces The result is 920 bytes - small enough. One can "Insert --> Face" - but nothing happens. If you don't set up '~/.evolution/faces' - then you're prompted for an image. That works - e-mail by e-mail. If the 'faces' file is created - "Insert --> Face" does no prompting - or anything else..... How do I attach a face automatically? Someone said look in Edit-->Preferences-->Mail Preferences--> Headers - but that looks to just be for pictures in my own address book. -- . . ___. .__ Posix Systems - Sth Africa. e.164 VOIP ready /| /| / /__ m...@posix.co.za - Mark J Elkins, Cisco CCIE / |/ |ARK \_/ /__ LKINS Tel: +27 12 807 0590 Cell: +27 82 601 0496 _______________________________________________ Evolution-list mailing list Evolution-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
