I just suspended a second time before restoring one of the windows to
the primary workspace, and when I resumed it was neither on the primary
nor the secondary workspace. I disabled workspaces and it reappeared on
the primary one. My guess is that unity restored the window to its
workspace+1 each t
I see it also on 14.04 (32-bit) but only very recently. And it happened
always right away after boot and log in. A workaround (a bit more
elegant that the killall one mentioned above) was for me to just start
the service in a shell as ...

Sending files from notebook (Ubuntu 14.04) to smartphone (SG2, Android
4.1.2) worked yesterdays, does not today. Sending files now produces the
error message in the subject. Nothing on the system was changed.
Running the command bluez-simple-agent produces this:

yes i am sure . i entered command in terminal waited 3-4 hours to finish
the command but nothing happened so i just closed the terminal and found

3. Open the session indicator
4. Click on "Shutdown..."
5. Wait few seconds
6. Alt-tab to terminal
7. Cltr-C to kill the command

yeah that's fine but if i open the session indicator click on "shutdown"
then system will get log off that's the problem. is that ok for you?

I am currently running Boinc 7.2.42(x64) on Ubuntu 14.04lts.
I have the same problem. When I minimize Boinc then close another window,
Boinc maximizes on it's own.
I have had this problem for a while even with consistent updates.
