Subject: Discrete Lo Freq
Hello All,
As always thanks for the help.
I was doing some timing measurements the other day and was wondering if this
seemed reasonable to you all. I did a simple setup in GRC where I had a
toggle switch that changed the frequency the usrp used as an LO. I input a
constant of 1 into the USRP2 bl
Hello all,
Another question. I need to have essentially a counter that will control
what frequency I transmit out of the USRP2. I need to control the rate at
which it changes. Currently I use a ramp function to do this. I see there is
a vector source that is also possible solution. Im wondering if
That did the trick thanks!

Hello All,
Is there a way to make the xy scope plots square? Thatis make the spacing of
the x and y axis equal for a given value. Right now it looks like the aspect
ratio is 1.568:1. How would one make it 1:1?
Thanks,
Justin

It was the ethernet card. Just a suggestion but it might be nice to add this
to the debugging network problems section of UHD-USRP2 Application Notes.
Thank you very much Josh!
Specifically I found uhd_find_devices and uhd_usrp_probe --args
to be useful next steps after pinging the
usrp2s to find
It looks like the uhd image is:

Maybe that helps.

The error occurs on recieve and transmit. It only occurs on the eth1
interface with the 192.168.20.2 Usrp2. I also get the error when I run
uhd_usrp_probe. It all isolated to that one usrp2. The usrp2 on eth0 works
fine.

@Josh:I only tried the single blocks on recieve. I hadn't gotten far enough
to try other blocks. I ll try transmit on monday. It seems to track the 2nd
usrp2. As far as the build goes I didn't build it myself. A friend did it
for me Ill have to ask him which he built. I know theres flow control. Bu
Hello All,
I think I have configured my USRP2 correctly and according to "UHD-USRP2
Application Notes". Im at the point where I can command line ping each
usrp2. I see the link activity leds flash and recieve responses from the
USRP2. It appears that it does this for each card and each correspondi
Hello All,
As I have stated in the past Im interested in VNA style measurements.
Specifically S21. From what I have read and found out experimentally I need
two coherent recievers to do this. And thus I need MIMO or something MIMO
like.
The wiki provides the following information (

Hello Everyone,
I have put together a simple vna setup using a USRP2. For right now Im using
the loop back cable that ettus sells (SMA-SMA) and a 3dB pad to connect the
RX to the TX port. While running the attached setup in GRC I see a couple of
things that concearn me and I was hoping to get some
Hello,
Im running GRC and I have a grc file with no gui. When I run the file a
python window displays and then disappears. I want to read whats in that
window since it seems there is a problem with my file and its not printing
to any where else. How do I do this? Is there a way to run the GRC file

Hello All,
I am expecting to see a similiar file size in a simple test file that im

I have checked obvious things. The USRP2 block is set to a decimation of
