I don't see this as a discussion to change the license. As Matt states, it's
just a question of management that doesn't "get" the GPL, so they send out
people to ask if they can use this software.

I would like to be able to create custom properties on a shape to store

A brief note that pre5 is out, mainly due to the fix of a nasty
text-related crash bug. If no more crashers are found, next Sunday is
set for release.
