Jolla. Media-APP showed them zero-lenght.
Changed them to MP3 and it worked fine.

and realised that Qt enabled multiplatform development (Harmatan,
Sailfish, BB10, Android, Ubuntu et al)
and because it allowed me to hone my unix skills

As another data point for the other thread, I am unable to send mail
through Fastmail's proxy server. Receiving mail is fine.
The server is smtps-proxy.messagingengine.com and it listens on all
ports. I've tried both SSL and TLS.

Just a suggestion: add a configurable option "Run when minimized" with a

As I have had the flu for the past few days, I have been working from
home, and thus receiving and sending quiet a few SMSes with work
colleagues. On the whole I found the SMS app useable, even if it could
benefit from some tweaking.
I found the "prod to reply" fairly obvious, IMHO
