There is worst lack of feature ever in jolla-mediaplayer. It have no
option to open mediafile from fileurl via mimetypes associations. There
are just NO way to open media file from filemanager or transfers window.
Users erporting it as bug in my application, but bug in Sailfish, in
jolla-media

The two things are not related at all :)
Even "Linux", that is 100% opensource, has hundred of people paid to
contribute to it full time.
I know that the comparison is a bit unfair, but it's just to explain that
it can be normal to be paid to develop something that is opensource.

because of that Jolla Core is not opensource (yet?)

API for that matter.
Do I have to use the /sys/devices files or is there any other way to

core apps such as the app clock. I'd like to add the ability to select a
timer's duration at the second precision level.

I see platforms, Sailfish OS too, list that they support HTML5 apps, but i dont
understand what do they mean exactly.
Does it mean:- Supporting HTML5 on a web browser?- Having a WebView component
with html5 rendering capability?- Supporting app development with html5 and
