I explicitly asked this question to the LF and they told me that we would
internally make the schedule. The only thing the LF would do, is to forward to
us any applications to the CFP which are flex related. So we don't need to go
through the CFP process.

massacre they had performed due to the split of core and big-data a big hand
full of talks were rejected due to mentioning some Big Data technology in their

... the remote part being a Mobile Flex application, but I'm not really deep
into the mobile framework part ... just the mobile building part as I had do to

A track makes it easier to get at least enough talks for the track selected.
Without a track it has to sort of fit into another track. Depending on how they
cut the tracks this could be difficult. We we want to go for a track, I could

Well I'm currently building a little robot. On that I'll be running BlazeDS to
communicate with a Mobile App ... hopefully I'll be finished with the hardware
part in a Week or so. As soon as that's done I'll submit some Mobile, IoT
related talk to the "ApacheCon NA - Core". If that talk is

So it seems that we would actually be able to fill a Track ... great :-)

Well I have submitted 3 proposals for ApacheCon - Core:
- Building FlexJS applications with Maven (Of course ;-) )
- An introduction to Apache Flex BlazeDS
- Flex Automation - Making automated front-end testing easy
I talked to Justin on submitting a joint-venture proposal for some fun Mobile +
Sounds great ... the more proposals that come from different people, the higher
is the chance to get a track ;-)
If you do Flex and BigData ... perhaps something on how these two worlds fit
together well would be something neat.

The review of the submissions is not over yet. I have submitted a talk and
workshop on Flex + FlexJS + Maven and one on BlazeDS, but no Idea if they will
be accepted. But the notifications will go out on 14.02.2015 ... so then we

Got confirmation for a talk and a tutorial. Both "building Cordova applications
with flex and maven". My blazeds talk it's on the waiting list. Guess this will
provide the preassure to finish falcon and flexjs support for flexm
I'm planning on going and will be submitting some talk proposals ... but in
contrast to the last time, I'll focus on small sub-topics ;-)
- My work on how we will be releasing Flex as Maven artifacts and what problem
we had to solve (Well I guess till the time of the Conference, I'll be finished

Found out how to do it ... great you have 1000 Places where you can add shadows
in PowerPoint ... it was the "Formeffects" where not the font or the slide had
a shadow, but the Frame containing the text ... well at least the shadow's gone
now ;-)
