I'll wait another day before emailing them.

Hi Everyone
I'm curious to know what is the outcome regarding that friendly email. For
once that someone is usong a blatant copy of the Flex logo and name, for
commercial purpose, with no disclaimer, I am very surprised that you guys
are not more aggressive especially after all the hard time given
My biggest things are the use of the logo WITH the title of Flex
Presentation. It recommends endorsement, which is clearly not the case.
If he removes our logo as his icon (and any other placement of it, or
Apache logos), then I would say it is generic enough to not warrant any

I'm not sure what "enforce" means. Maybe we need to agree on what we want
to see changed.
-Personally, I'm not in favor of letting him use the blue icon.
-I am ok with the product name "Flex Presentation"
-We want the Google Play store Description to start with "Flex()

That certainly would but that no
If you take a look at the other apps this developer has published, he's
using the registered trademark logos from Java (Oracle), PHP, HTML5 (W3C),
CSS (W3C) and SQLServer (Microsoft). These are apps published on the same
day as well...
We should poke him sooner than later.

If a bricks and mortar - or rather: mud brick - store would use a blue
version of the Adobe logo and call itself "the adobe photo shoppe", would
that be an infraction on the logo and trademark of Adobe Photoshop? I'm
sure Adobe's lawyers would think so.
I would suggest asking the publisher to chan
No need IMO to get trademarks involved just a polite email for right
trademark and perhaps link to site. Assuming they are using Apache Flex
rather than Adobe Flex that is. Logo wise it a bit naughty but given
there's little confusion with the project I just ask if they would mind

I was looking for the Tour de Flex Mobile app on Google Play (looks like it
is gone already, btw). In any case, I stumbled upon this app [1] Looks
like a liberal use of the Flex name and logo. Should we say something?
Thanks,
