Hi Piotr,
First, thanks for the fixes you’ve done so far.
You can make any changes you want to files in the FlexJSJX project. These
files get cross-compiled so the refactoring I’m doing doesn’t care what
the source looks like. It will make the merge easier if files in the
FlexJSUI project don’t
Alex,
I was able to build couple of examples.
DateChooserExample seems for me as a good start to try fix something in
FlexJS. DateField doesn't look good in html version.
Questions:
1) Should I wait for your refactoring ?
2) How to fix bugs if component looks ok in Flash version, but something is
OK. Does anyone have any ideas, contributions or feature requests before I
look into this further?
Do any of the compiler guys have any thoughts? I was going to ask Gordon

Yes, in frameworks/as/build.xml, this line looks wrong:
What happens if you remove that line?

Sure, if that’s what folks want.
IMO, it would be far better if someone else did “getting started” learning
content. To me, there are things that lots of people can do, and probably
do better than me, and things t
I dont think you have to do anything special, other than using AIR16 or
above (to comply with apples' 64 bit requirements).
You certainly dont need to specify (or download) an ios sdk

Hi Guys,
I am trying to build one of the example DataBindingTest with the last
nightly FlexJS build.
I am using FDT IDE and I got an error:
unable to open 'H:\flexsdk\ApacheFlexJS_Nightly\frameworks\locale\en_US'.
Folder locale is empty - Shouldn't contains locale ?

What I’ve found - and I could be wrong - is that FLEX_HOME is changed by
the frameworks/as/build.xml and reset to FLEXJS_HOME so there is no
template to copy. Not sure what the ramifications are for leaving
FLEX_HOME to its original value, but I am experimenting.

Erik,
It looks like we are good to go with the docs. There is one failing

Anything else you want me to take care of before cutting the first RC?

The index.template.html gets copied from a fully built Flex-sdk repo, not
from the swfobject package itself since the Flex version may be slightly
different.
Maybe the easy answer is to check index.template.html into git. I was
copying it so it would stay in sync with the SDK, but maybe that’s no
Alex,
I would love to see you host a webconference on getting started with
FlexJS. That should help people who are interested, but are not able to
get the ball rolling.
Thoughts?

Hi Alex,
In the first line you can see:
nl_NL$SharedResources_properties
which clearly points to a nl_NL resource.
Line 8 reads:
monthNames=January,February,etc...
In the file nl_NL/SharedResources:
monthNames=januari,februari,etc...
So nl_NL$SharedResources_properties has gotten wrong content.
What should it look like? Do you have a simple test case?
