At the recent DPDK Userspace event in Dublin, Mohammad Abdul Awal gave a brief
talk on the Hyperscan pattern match software. We said at the time that it
wasn't open sourced yet but it would be soon. It's now available at:

At the recent DPDK Userspace event we agreed that we need a body to make
technical decisions for the project. In Dublin we referred to this as a
Technical Steering Committee, but that term is often used on other projects to
describe a body with a more political charter. To avoid confusion, and

There's been a lot of activity on the mailing list recently on DPDK support for
ARM. It's great to see the project being enhanced to embrace a new architecture.
We have seen some duplication of efforts on this, so we think it would make a
good topic for a community call. This will give everybody
want to make sure that we have agreement on the scope and purpose of the
board. We can address membership once we've finalized that.

Hi Neil,
There have been a few deprecation notices like this one submitted. Since you
drove the ABI policy, it would be good to get confirmation from you that these
are compliant with the policy and that you don't see any issues. Ideally, it
would be great if you can review and ack them. If you

As we're nearing the completion of the 16.04 release, I'd like to let the
community know our plans for 16.07. It would be good if others are also willing
to share their plans so that we can build up a complete picture of what's

We were a little late doing this for 16.07, so we're going to try and

Since its creation as an open source project in 2013, DPDK has grown
