Yes it is.
I'll provide a staging repo too.

It looks like a timezone problem. (validating timestamp value)
That would explain why it works for me and not for Uwe.
I'll look into it.

Hello,
MacOS 10.11 (Java 1.8.0_102)
build cpp and run tests: ok
build python and run tests: ok
build java: ok
java tests failed:
Failed tests:
TestArrowFile.testWriteReadComplex:236->validateComplexContent:261
expected:<1> but was:<-9>
TestArrowFile.testWriteComplex:91->validateComplexConte
So I think in some other projects they also put the jars in a staging repo
(e.g.
http://apache-spark-developers-list.1001551.n3.nabble.com/VOTE-Release-Apache-Spark-2-0-0-RC5-td18367.html
) - is that not the plan for arrow in 0.1.0?

I'm not able to join today, but: we've made great progress on the C++ /
Python side and should be able to work on integration tests soon. I'm
available to do whatever needs to be done to help with this and the
release.
Parquet integration has been moved to Parquet-cpp and all in good shape
there.
The arrow sync is starting now:
