I had the same issue but due to multiple profiles. I guess the process
for the transition to snap would not be able to tell whether there are
other profiles or not, so I am not reopening. The solution: copy all

Thanks. I am testing XFCE desktop for now.
A brief comment on XFCE experience. The starting size of Xorg process
under XFCE is ~100-130 MB, but after 10 days of usage with mostly
Firefox & terminal windows (multiple windows for each app, and sometimes
pdf viewer [atril]) it grew to 270-300 MB. I

channel (for amd64, other architectures will follow shortly), so I'm

If selecting another integer scaling after disabling fractional scaling

When running Ubuntu session under X11, in gnome-control-center, display panel:
- Ensure 100% scaling is selected and applied
- Enable fractional scaling
- Select 200% scaling
I don't use snapped version of chromium anymore and no longer can test
it. Please close the bug.
