Expected behaviour:

This affects Ubuntu 18.10 as well. Gets triggered every time while a YT
video is playing and i open a website in firefox in special reading
view.
Overkill in KDE because the sound error starts when checking mails in
kmail or refreshing akkregator.
Removing speech-dispatcher "solves" the problem.
I am sorry, i found an earlier bugreport.

It looks like (at least for some people) there was a wider root cause -
confirmed by the trace in comments above, where expensive clock_gettime
calls are observed.

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1821404, so is being marked as such.
Use Firefox to connect to the hotspot is working for me .. need to find out
how to rejig the Ubuntu hotspot connector to use firefox .. might just be a
browser negotiation issue.
