Title:
  Thunderbird KDE-integration

Status in mozilla-thunderbird package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid
Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
By default, Thunderbird doesn't use KDE-dialogs when running under
Kubuntu, which can be changed by editing /usr/lib/mozilla-
thunderbird/components/nsFilePicker.js like described for Firefox in
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=110353 . This is quite some
pain, since it has to be done every time Thunderbird gets updated.

The preferable solution would be to supply a Thunderbird-KDE-
integration-package, or at least putting nsFilePicker.js under
  /etc/[mozilla-]thunderbird/, so that user-made changes won't get
  wasted after each update.

Btw, in Thunderbird 1.0.x one could "dpkg-reconfigure mozilla-
thunderbird" to manually update the Thunderbird Chrome Registry to
enable changes made in nsFilePicker.js, which unfortunately doesn't
work for Thunderbird 1.5.x anymore :-(
