tests), this Build-Dependency was removed before the 2.2~rc1-5 Debian

The same exact problem on 17.04 after upgrading from 16.10.
I tried different mouses, wired/wireless and xset command in terminal
but no luck so far.
I can't change the mouse speed at all.

Regarding my previous post (#24)...
Seems that everything is back to abnormal. After logging out and re-
logging again bug was back. This time soft disconnecting and
reconnecting network (from NManager) helped to regain access to network,
but this was not always the remedy.

When install NVIDIA driver GTX960M, it returned an error and recommend to exit
X sever.
But when turn off X sever check by add parameter --no-x-check, it generated an

xserver-xorg-input-all was installed. As a result, both xserver-xorg-
input synaptics and xserver-xorg-input-libinput got installed.

For 17.10, I think xserver-xorg-input-all should no longer recommend
xserver-xorg-input-synaptics since it will cause problems for a default
Ubuntu install if installed.

the "Install" button does nothing.

package cracklib-runtime 2.9.2-3 failed to install/upgrade: dependency
It took less than 10 minutes of testing for the issue to come back up
again under 4.11-rc7. Definitely NOT fixed upstream. I'll keep testing
and see if I find any other unique behaviours/error messages. Thanks

For me, the bug is gone since the upgrade to Ubuntu 16.04. Just took 3
years to solve.
Now that it's official the sunsetting of Unity and Mir, I hope similar
bugs won't take that long to be solved.
