Same here. I cannot install VSCode. Ubuntu software opens the deb but
the "Install" button does nothing.

Bug description:
  Pressing on Install button does nothing

  Steps to recreate:

  - Download a deb file (e.g. 
https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/client/installer/steam.deb or 
https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=760868)
  - Open it (standard program to open a deb file is Ubuntu Software)
  - Press on Install
  - Nothing happens
