The rebuild of 20.3.4 here does not crash
@Bob Your crash log confirms it is the same issue. It crashes the
installer at the try/install stage (what you are reporting, and what
results in the message you see) AND when the installer is manually
launched from a live session.

- Tested whether ubiquity launches.

I just tried this on a fully up to date install of Kubuntu focal 20.04,
using the exact example link give in comment 3 and same firefox build.
Firefox successfully copied the repo clone link to the clipboard under
KDE.

update restored quickly?
I just had to help someone force downgrade pulseaudio packages from the
update, as deleting that update that after they had upgraded meant that
when they wanted to install pulseaudio -dev packages, they we
Redditer trying an upgrade from disco -> eoan reported broken upgrade
due to this, and like in comment #34 I can reproduce this still.
So I think this a fix backported to 19,04 kernel is definitely required
before we release 19.10.
