Thanks. After experiencing this issue 2-3 times last night, I realized
this may possibly be related to tablet screen rotation (not sure if the
gnome-shell logs delve into this, tried looking and didn't see anything
that seemed relevant) - Generally when I've noticed this bug I was using
the device
All of the bugs that wandering-pixel aimed to work around were fixed in
GNOME 40, and then fixed in update 3.38.4. So hopefully you shouldn't
need that extension now.

I'm here to say that I'm having the same issue.
Until this evening, I was using Debian 10 with KDE, but I installed
Ubuntu 20.04 a few hours ago.
I use a laptop with a external keyboard connected on it and my laptop
have a numeric keyboard and my external keyboard don't, so I always use
the lapto
I had this problem a few weeks ago (21.04) & changed to x11.
Additionally I found it sometimes affected nautilus file windows in the dock in
the same way.
The dock would show dots for windows that did not exist & then new windows
could not be opened & reboot was needed. So its more than just a Th
I forgot to mention that this is a new HP Laptop with a new Ubuntu
20.04.2 installation. I have attached the out from the Hardware Info

As mentioned on IRC, accepting this upload with the workaround of
building the armhf binaries with noopt - as this is the consensus
reached in the desktop team. With all fairness, we have no official
desktop armhf images or platforms that could consume libreoffice, so any
performance degradation in
aptdaemon at the moment is barely kept alive for update-manager, I'm
hopeful the other components can make use of PackageKit instead and
don't need the ability to calculate dependency problem solutions
themselves.

Can someone explain why this bug seems to be such low priority? It makes
