There is no obvious method found to disable the "drum" sound permanently
withouit either deleting the file or other non-intuitive methods.
A simple checkbox is all that is needed.
There are many reasons why this feature could be unwanted.

With a functioning nautilus-folder-handler.desktop included in Precise's
nautilus, this is fixed. If you still have the symptoms, you probably
have old files in ~/.local/share/applications/ . Try cleaning that out,
and remaking the associations you need. I had to. :)

able to successfully install sandboxgamemaker using recent updates after
Precise beta 2 and Ubuntu Software Center version 5.1.14.1. I did notice
that it took quite a while after clicking the "install vendor content"

use album artist and artist as fields then you need to at least use
semi-colons to seperate the fields for overlapping artists and genres
