I've just upgraded my system to Jaunty, re-enabled the keyboard plug-in
and the problem no longer seems to show up. So I believe this bug has
somehow been fixed in Jaunty and this bug report can be closed.

Well... I wanted to try disabling my extensions to see whether I could
get the Wayland session to work, when I noticed that Dash to dock was
enabled - it was still left there after my upgrade from 16.04. After
disabling it, Ubuntu Dock (if that was even what was running) appears to
work fine.

Well, the keys have their default values. After modifying my
/etc/default/console-setup file, I explicitly reset them (gconftool
--recursive-unset /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd), hoping that Gnome
would then directly pick up the values from X. Here's the result of the command

@randomubuntuguy - since this bug is also marked for Thunar, I suppose
I'll mention this: in Thunar, you can provide right click access to run
scripts. See Edit->Configure Custom Actions.

Sorry, no auth client option in the list only 2 options that are extra
when I activate the gtalk account; gabble(jabber) and haze.

Went offline, cleared the logs then used the indicator to change to
available and still no auth client option. See attached Screenshot.
Did this 4 times, but still no auth client logs. What I do see is a constant
warning in the logs and the CLI output about a persona store that cannot be
found.

Now that you mention it, I did use displayconfig-gtk to raise the
resolution to 1280x1024.
After commenting out the line and logging out I had the feeling it was
zoomed out a little bit more, but I could still only see the top left-

oops, I mistakenly added the "avi" extension to the file name, should be *.gif !
Tried to rename it, or remove it and uploaded again with the correct file name,
but Malone doesn't have a way to edit or delete attachments
