Yeah I noticed the various types/languages, but I didn't thought much of it... I just assumed it was a way to sort/categorize them so it's easier to find out what shortcuts are available for what language... > "do ... while" syntax is not the same in bash than C than perl ... but since I only code in C, I didn't quite think that most language would have similar syntax hence they wold conflict, hence the need for gedit to know what language I use in order to select the correct snippets category... > it makes sense to have them by type.
