Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/13554
Comment: That's interesting. So it kinda 99.99% works with SCSI then. And the other day a friend visited me with a USB 250MB model, and it worked perfectly, sweet as chocolate. So ZIP drive support is not "that" broken then, rather, it's broken only for 2 interfaces out of 4. That's encouraging, means there is no conspiracy to drop support for ZIp drives in general. SCSI : works 99% USB: jsut works parport: all over the place IDE : idem. I still have my computer opened, ready to plug my IDE ZIP drive to conduct tests when needed, and my parport drive is permantly connected. So I am ready to test anything the devs can do to help fix these... :o) -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
