I have switched to lightdm to avoid the bug, I will switch back this
evening to cause the problem again, RAM usage was measured by System
Monitor, CPU usage was not high, only RAM usage which slowly increased

same here on brand new 20.04 LTS running in VM on HyoerV
SSO and Ubuntu One accounts work fine on webs, but Livepatch setup lets
me enter SSO initally, then prompts for local admin, before coming back
to SS
I think this is to do with the hardware (probably 3D) acceleration under
OpenGL since the effect is reproducable by installing virt-manager,
setting the type to SPICE instead of VNC and then enabling OpenGL
hadware accelerated rendering (3d acceleration as it might be called.)
Thus, I believe that
I bare good news, On 22.10 current build for desktop, this issue no
longer is valid as it will be resolved! No more garbled mess. I have
been looking about but perhaps the fixes there can be applied to jammy.

Every so often, the desktop will go black and then re appear on Ubuntu
22.10 Wayland Session which should not be occurring (this does not
happen on 22.04.) Note that only the cursor can be seen.
Reporting this before release so that it can be patched for (at least)
the RasPi.
Also in case that helps, I experience the same bug. In addition, #2 did
not work for me. Immediately after executing "tracker reset -e" on a
shell, nautilus shows instantly after a click, but the problem comes
back at the next reboot.

Well of all the apps I had jnstalled that logged to /var/log/
subdirectory only gdm and apt failed to recreate their chosen subdir
on next launch and gdm was the only one that failed to launch because
of it. So patching gdm to be consistent with all the other apps
included in a default ubunt

I think you'll find that the official ffmpeg trunk has only had vpx
encoding for around 12 days, and webm muxing for about 8 days. Maverick
is still on ffmpeg 0.5.1 (0.5.2 is latest official release) and Ubuntu

Heya, I'm glad to test the bug for you, but I'm not sure how to replicate
it. It has only happened once, and then when logging in (I'm not really sure
how to get valgrind to go at this point). Not knowing how to reproduce the
