You're right. I can confirm that the runtime related refs are now
installed without any issue, however the new code seems to have problems
with downgrades. :-( Unfortunately, I am not a good in C so I cannot fix
it myself and Joaquim Rocha doesn't work on GNOME Software anymore.

would be still good to update it to 3.36.0 (or 3.36.1 when it is
released) for Ubuntu 20.04 to allow users with custom configuration or
flavours (i believe that, for example, Ubuntu MATE uses the deb vers
