Weird close button in settin
As per the screenshot in comment #1, I'm also seeing this using the
Adwaita theme in a GNOME session rather than an Ubuntu session. Easy to
reproduce using Tweaks to move the Titlebar buttons from Right to Left.
I think the bug being described is that buttons should be paced on the
extreme left as
WORKAROUNDS:
* Run 'Extensions' (from package gnome-shell-extension-prefs) and
disable 'Ubuntu Dock'. You will get the regular GNOME dock instead; or
* Settings > Appearance > Dock > Position on screen = Bottom; or
* Arrange your monitors differently :)

I am using the pre-release Ubuntu 20.04 (updated on 2020-04-20) with
Gnome and XWayland. I have a dual-screen setup with an additional
monitor above the main one. The exactly same setup used to work on
Ubuntu 19.10.
When the top monitor is connected, the results of the "Show
It seams its a problem of guttenprint (in my case it even changes the
scale not equally for X and Y). They replaced driver with another one
where the problems were partially solved and returned the old one in new
versions of Ubuntu.

This seems to happen when switching user passing from GDM or just doing
Ctrl+alt+f1 -> Ctrl+alt+f2 (or yours).
Looks like gdm's mutter cursor stays.
Using gdm running in X11, workarounds the issue, so as workaround
editing /etc/gdm3/custom.conf to uncomment `WaylandEnable=false` should
fix this.
This issue seems to happen only when the Ubuntu Dock is present, even with the
latest version.
Disabling it still causes a scaling bug however not to the extent of this one.

The problem with OBS is a different issue, and possibly not a bug at
all. It's probably not realistic to modify all screen recording apps to
understand Ubuntu's Xrandr scaling feature. If you would like to discuss
