Rhythmbox-plugins used to have browser plugin for detecting iTunes-podcast
pages. I believe the lack of this plugin has been keeping from viewing in
tunesviewer on some pages. For example, the videos linked here:

I got this when I had Gedit running maximized on my top-left workspace
with multiple tabs open, then switched to my top-right workspace and
used the quicklist entry for opening a new window. After the window
opened blank, it went unresponsive and eventually crashed.

Does anyone ever try to disable libisofs plugin by dconf ? dconf-editor > apps

Well, it seems as if the bug's back. In addition, I am also not able to
adjust the volume nor the keyboard backlight via my laptop's function
keys.
System Settings > Brightness and Lock does not display the brightness
settings.

Just noting that as of gnome-settings-daemon version 3.3.92-0ubuntu2,
this bug is still apparent. Lock is set, close lid, screen turns off,
open lid, normal desktop appears.
