Having a reasonable password by default is a best practice.
If you don't want to have a secure password, you have two options:
1- Use "sudo passwd username" to set your password to something simple
2- Disable password quality checking by modifying the pam configuration as

This seems to work pretty well for me right now if you omit the issue of
the bluetooth applet not properly seeing the new enabled state after
rfkill has been toggled (it never comes back with the full menu unless
you change a config in the wizard or turn it off/on again via the menu).

not sure what gtk is doing, the GtkButtonBox used is not homogeneous no,
check on the sound capplet for example, switching to gtkgrid fixes it
though...

Same here .. actually doing a manual suspend works great ! but closing
lid nothing happens, i almost burned out my laptop .. thank god i was
able to save it on time , by morning my laptop was super hot ..

Hi Sebastien,
It looks like the plymouth portion is not invalid anymore, as soon as
lightdm starts the backlight switches off. Current version of lightdm is
lightdm_1.0.6-0ubuntu1.1_amd64.deb. I have attached the most recent logs
for lightdm. In x-0-greeter.log there are a few errors and warnings

starts with a ".")
- be sure to enable the "show hidden files" option in the View menu
- hold the Ctrl key pressed
- click on a hidden file and drag it into another place in the
