Noticed that /proc/pid/exe , /proc/pid/cwd and /proc/pid/root are not
longer accessible for the user they can only be seeing by root. Linux
issue perhaps?

Strangely enough, it's just started working for me this week. (ie. not
crashing on click). I had assumed that whatever was causing this was
fixed during one of the Update Manager's routine updates.
