desktop icons had all been rearranged. This is terrible behavior. I

i revisited the issue today and tested the following:
* we noticed that the issue does not show up in karmic so i rebuilt the
2.27 version of gnome keyring in jaunty, the issue returned with the
newer version as well
* i rebuilt the 2.27 source in jaunty with karmics gcc-4.4, the issue
vanished
That's alright Scott, I figured that would be the case– policies are in
place for a reason. I'm just glad to know that it IS fixed! If the
changes aren't too huge, I'd be willing to test a patch file if you've
got one, I'm sure people subscribed to this would appreciate it. What do
you think?

Something else, i have installed the plugin for mp3 files. Every time i
start to play a song (the songs that can be played) it ask me to search
for the plugin. I click cancel and then it starts to play the song. This
happens with every player.

It seems to me that the file itself is broken. Opening it with evince
and xpdf gives many errors:

gnome-panel hangs on me very regularly (every few days). I'm running
Ubuntu 9.04 (whatever crazy name that is).
If you need more info to help debug this, let me know what to do to
provide it for you!
P.S. I've moved the panel bars to the left and right of the screen.

asks for ID3 tag demuxer (once), Windows Media Audio decoder (several

I was looking for google calendar + evolution related bugs and ran into
this report.
I can say for myself, this bug is invalid.
I just installed a clean Ubuntu 9.04 system and set up evolution with my
google calendar and checked to store password. The password is not
forgotten between restarts.
