Have just installed Intrepid and applied the latest software upgrades.
With kernel 2.6.27-9 I get bad transfer rates (round 1000 kB/s), but
booting 2.6.27-7 I get normal rates (> 20 MB/s).
I think we can conclude it's a kernel issue. Don't you?

I am experiencing a similar problem except I'm working with jpegs. I
have an jpeg image that I cropped and want to export the cropped version
to flickr but F-Spot doesn't seem to give me the option of selecting
anything but the original.
This is on Intreped AMD64
db...@dberg-desktop:~$ uname -a
Looking closer the active version does get uploaded but the original
thumbnail is displayed regardless of which version gets uploaded.
Looks like my problem is unrelated. Sorry about that.

I'm reopening this bug because the process outline by Chris Coulson did
not result in a crash report in '/var/crash' when the Rhythmbox
application crashed. I appreciate that this makes the problem much
harder to investigate, but I really can't proceed along the lines you
recommend if it crash
I'm marking this as "New" again since the process described by Chris
when it was marked "Invalid" didn't create the file that would allow for
a new, "valid" bug report.
