I have a similar issue with a Ubuntu Intrepid install on an Acer Aspire
One netbook, where gnome-system-monitor plus Xorg consume 60+% CPU,
shown both by top and g-s-m.
Running top in maximized gnome-terminal after cold start. CPU usage from
Xorg:1-3%, total: 3-5%

I can't find ~/.xsession-errors.
In the file system I can find gnome2 and the launchers I've added to
that panel, but I don't see anything about the top panel. Is it called
gnome1 ? Or what?

Same here on a HP laptop. Microphone works well in other apps.
Anyone "testing" their microphone using this application may think it
doesn't work when in fact it does.

Resetting visual effects to none removes flicker from both Totem-
gstreamer and Totem-xine. Totem-xine plays DVD with resindvd.so
present, but Totem-gstreamer does not. As others have stated Totem
worked well with Hardy.

I am also getting this error on an AMD64 machine. The error message I
get is still "Agent admitted failure to sign using the key", although
the output of ssh -v is a little different - here it is up to
when it prompts me to use a password to login:
OpenSSH_5.1p1 Debian-3ubuntu1, OpenSSL 0.9.8g 19
I forgot to mention, I'm using Intrepid and I wasn't getting this error
on Hardy (though I may not have had the latest version of seahorse or
gnome-keyring, as I had update-manager disabled for a while).

It's eog bug, because it must view file headers to open it properly
instead of file extention. It is not a ms windows application!!!
imho file extention means nothing in UNIX-way...
