Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: totem

When I run Live365 internet music streaming, the stream clips regardless
of bitrate settings. The machine is a 1.3ghz gateway with 1GB RAM so
hardware shouldn't be an issue., I am running a wireless connection
using a Belkin USB wireless adapter. I can stream fine with the other
windows machines, but for some reason my Ubuntu machine is clipping. I
also have an Freespire Linux machine and am having NO problems.. Ubuntu
Edition 2008
