Confirmed for Ubuntu 8.10 as of today with Evolution 2.24.0. On the
first attempt, Evolution started emptying the Trash folder but then said
"Error while expunging folder". On the second attempt, Evolution crashed
(closed without any comment).

Can we increase the importance of this to something more than "Low"?
For those needing a workaround, it turns out it's easy to patch the
binary executable to swap out Alt for Control - If you open /usr/bin
/gnome-terminal in some binary-capable editor, find the string constant
%d and change it to

xournal (e.g.) shows severe problems with redraw. some lines don't
appear, others after the cursor moves out of the canvas, others appear
partially and later complete. libgnomecanvas is responsible. fedora and

My system is ibex fully updated (install from scratch)
I have the little drum sound at the login screen, then I have the defaut
login sound (which is weird as it is the ubuntu scheme which is selected
in gnome-sound-properties). Then nothing, sound is dead.

if I log out, back at the login screen, there is the little drum again.
I log in, I hear no (login) sound BUT after the desktop is loaded I can
play all kind of sound and pulse audio tests in gnome-sound-properties
do work correctly without any "streaming" errors.
Please advise on what tests/file
bug is still present in intrepid.
