My Heron game above ended up as a saved game.
I have released myself from it by deleting one of the answers and then

@Daniel: the fact that the user needs to logout/login is a basic property of
how the permission system works on linux, and in any *nix system. i.e. the
system checks user's groups at login.
Anyhow, on "other" systems you need a reboot, login/logout is cheap.

I can confirm this bug. In Nautilus, any files/directories on my ntfs-3g
partition can be deleted, but they can not be moved into the trash folder. I

quotes added around it. At the moment evolution treats the comma as a
separator between email addresses and so will try to send two emails:

Thanks for your patience with my stubborn version of the bug, but now it
seems to work fine!! It hesitated, and my heart fell, but then it
unfurled just as it should, and furled up again when I reclicked the
button. All my earlier settings are gone, but the new ones work fine.

Also, can you specify exactly which error it is you are getting?

I had the same problem when upgrading from 7.10 to 8.04 and i solved it
by making the subtitles to load when the movie does. My totem is in
spanish but i think the menus might be something like this:
Edit -> Preferences, and then check something like "load subtitle file
when the movie starts"
