Evince does not display a pdf correctly. It seems like a layer or something is
missing.
I have no idea of how the pdf was made but I have attached the example.pdf to
this bug report. I will also attach screenshots from evince and also xpdf
(which does display it correctly).

I do remember that, at least at one point in the hardy buildup, I did
get an E-D-S upgrade to propose Evo removal (new E-D-S had already been
put available in the repositories, but not the corresponding Evo).

Like Jordan, I've also bin bitten by this bug on a dual LTSP server
network. We also have NFS home directories, which compounds the
slowness.
I just applied the updates for nautilus and nautilus-data from gutsy-
proposed. I'll see what happens over the next few days.
