I can confirm this bug! Unfortunately, it happens on my girlfriend's notebook and she is not here since monday (will be back tomorrow), so I can not really provide very good information, sorry!
The problems she has (after reboot everything works fine for a while, but suddenly...): - desktop icons disappear - she cannot enter folders with nautilus (it hangs, after a LOOONG time it opens the folders) - the red logout/reboot/halt-button does not work (it does, too AFTER a loong time) - ... I logged in over ssh and I could not even start nautilus for her (export DISPLAY=:0; nautilus --no-desktop), nothing happened, but I then restarted dbus (sudo /etc/init.d/dbus restart) and then MANY windows (all the folders she tried to open before and some logout-screens) appeared and I got disconnected (WLAN). She has all security updates installed and the first time it happend was probably monday or tuesday. HTH, regards johannes PS: Ahh, in her $HOME, there was a 273MiB!! file called .nautilus-debug.log or so... (content: "... debug log dumped due to signal 11" MANY times) -- All icons have disappeared from desktop after minimizing Firefox.
