Thank you for all the interest in this problem.My solution to this
problem now will be to load Ubuntu 10.10 on this PC soon. I purchased a
CD that I loaded on another PC and it loaded fine.

I have put the answers to each question at the end of the question. The
PC shuts down after 15 minutes or if I go to screen saver it locks up
instantly and PC shuts down. I have to hit control, alt ,delete and
completely start over.

I am pretty sure I have always sumitted the requested information. One
thing I have thought about , if I had the procedure to go thru terminal
and move screen saver to something other than ant spot that might
work. Or How would I reload a new version of Ubuntu?

I am back at home and have done as you suggested and am having the same
problem. When I go to screen saver it freezes instantly and the suspends
and have to hit control,alt delete and it will wake up and I have to put
in password again. It still suspends after 15 minutes. Importance
should be high

This is an additional email to go along with the email I sent earlier
today. One thing I had done a few weeks ago was to change the mousse and
the keyboard just in case they had anything to do with the problem.
