As a business user this would be critical for rolling out to more
desktops here. I even forget that when I hit 'X' it shuts down. This
just doesn't make sense. Why have an alert for new email that doesn't
work when I close the application? This really needs to be like Pidgin,
Pandora, Rythmbox, etc

Haven't used Feisty for about two months now. I'm not sure I will
again. Too much time invested in Corel files & Corel stuff won't work
with Wine.

I forgot to mention in my last message that running "gdmflexiserver
--startnew" from the terminal also caused the screen to go blank,
dislplay the nVidia splash screen, then return to the original desktop,
where the following message was displayed in the terminal:

I re-enabled automatic login for my desktop, when went fine.
First Try: When tried switching to the other user the first time, the
screen went black, then displayed the nVidia splash screen, then went
black again, and finally brought me back to the same desktop as before.

I enabled automatic login for one of the user accounts on my machine.
When I rebooted the system, I was logged in automatically for the user.
However, when I tried to switch users, I was taken to a login screen
